What a fantastic time we had with The Tea and Tarts WI in Huddersfield. We spent a great couple of hours teaching the lovely WI ladies how to make their own celebrity cake pops. The choices were Cakey Perry or Elvis Popsley,  we found ourselves to be amongst a brilliant bunch of imaginative and creative women some of whom created their own cake pop designs...we had a Smurf and Lady Gugu!

The inspiration for the evening came from April Carter's fabulous book "Top of the Cake Pops" and the WI ladies really got stuck in to creating some fantastic cake pops. We were astounded that so many people signed up to our workshop and at the final head count there were between 60-70 people all getting stuck in to rolling cake and dipping it into melted chocolate.

We just want to say a big thank you to Rebecca and all of the WI ladies for being so welcoming and signing up to our workshop. We hope that we inspired you to continue cake popping.

Top of the Cake Pops!

The Kiss Me Cake Bakery is really excited to be supporting the Tea and Tarts WI this Thursday at Huddersfield Town Hall. We will be there from 7pm to hold our Top of the Cake Pops workshop. We will be making our favourite recording artists in cake pop form...Cakey Perry anyone?

Happy New Year everybody! We are back in business and gearing up for a cake filled 2013. We had a great Christmas and were busy making and icing Christmas cakes right up to the night before. We've had some fantastic feedback this year:

Helping Children in Need

We've created these cute Pudsey Bear cupcakes to help raise some money for Children in Need, which takes place this Friday 16th November. Thank you to Barnsley College who snapped up some of these tasty, money raising treats to sell in one of their departments today! Our Pudsey Bears are available now in double chocolate chip or vanilla and white chocolate chip flavour...absolutely yummy and for a well worthy cause!
